George GOBLE
(c1720-?)
and Elizabeth PARKER (?-?)

George Goble
and
Elizabeth Parker
married by banns on 28 December 1745 at
St. Peter the Great, Chichester, Sussex, at which time they were both
residents of the parish.
George Goble’s
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. But according to the IGI he was born
about 1720.
Elizabeth Parker’s
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
And again,
according the IGI she was born about 1724. She may have been buried on 19
April 1784 in Bosham where the fee for her burial was paid. However, the
burial entry only records her name and the burial may refer to the infant
Elizabeth Goble
who was baptised on
20 November 1783 in Bosham, daughter of George Goble and Judith.
George Goble
and Elizabeth Parker had 3 known children and possibly more:
-
John
Goble was
baptised on 27 August 1749 at St. Peter the Great, Chichester. He
probably died as an infant.
-
John Goble
was baptised on 22
March 1751/2 at Chichester.
-
Elizabeth Goble
was baptised on 1
December 1755 in South Bersted, Sussex.
