Samuel FRENCH
(1665-1747)
and Mary BALDOCK (c1670-1712)

Samuel French
and
Mary Baldock
may have been my 8x Great
Grandparents. (Click
here
to see their place in my pedigree chart.) They married on 10 February 1691/2 in Warbleton, Sussex.
As a widower, Samuel married Sara Blackman by banns on 8 October 1713
in Warbleton.
Samuel French
was baptised on 6 September 1665 in Warbleton. He was the son of
Thomas French
(1618-1673) and Lucy
Willcock. Samuel was buried on 24 January 1746/7 in Warbleton.
Mary Baldock's
date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me. She was buried on
29 April 1712 in Warbleton.
Sarah
was buried on 6 September 1746 in Warbleton and the burial register noted
that she was the wife of Samuel French.
Samuel French and
Mary Baldock had 4 known children:
-
John French,
my possible 7x Great Grandfather, was baptised on 15 January 1692/3 in
Warbleton. He married
Ann Brand in
1721. (They have their own page.)
-
Mary French
was baptised on 25 February 1695/6 in Warbleton.
-
Samuel French
was baptised on 28 September 1698 in Warbleton.
-
Lucy French
was baptised in March 1701 in Warbleton and buried there on 9 June 1703.
