William FREEMAN

William Freeman left a will dated 25 August 1676. (Click
here to
read my transcript of his will.) At that time he was of West
Grinstead, Sussex and called himself William Freeman the elder.
William Freeman had 3
known children:
-
Dorothy Freeman was baptised on 9 April 1637 in Shipley. She
was mentioned in her father's will as the wife of
Thomas Woolvin.
They had married on 11 October 1666 in Findon, Sussex.

Daughter who married a Browne, so far no possible marriage found.
They had 2 known children:

John Browne was mentioned in his grandfather's will and was to
receive a legacy of six pounds when he reached the age of 21.

Elizabeth Brown was mentioned in her grandfather's will and was
to receive a legacy of five pounds when she reached the age of 18 or the
day of her marriage, which ever occurred first.
-
William Freeman was appointed the sole Executor of his father's
will.
