Thomas Foster and Mary Weston married on 18 July 1773 in Winchelsea, Sussex.  Thomas was then a labourer of Icklesham, Sussex.  As a widower he married Mary Nash by licence of 19 May 1787 in Guestling, Sussex.

Thomas Foster's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Mary Weston's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

Mary Nash's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.

 

Thomas Foster and Mary Weston had 3 known children:

  1. Elizabeth Foster was baptised on 21 July 1775 in Winchelsea.

  2. Jane Foster was baptised on 3 August 1777 in Winchelsea.  Jane may have married Richard Foster on 10 March 1803 in Winchelsea.  Richard may have been baptised on 13 August 1780 in Iden, Sussex and have been the son of Richard Foster and Ann Dieatt.

  3. Sarah Foster baptised on 12 September 1784 in Icklesham.  She married George Masters in 1802.  (They have their own page.)

 

Thomas Foster and Mary Nash had 3 known children:

  1. John Foster was baptised on 17 June 1787 in Icklesham.

  2. Lucy Foster was baptised on 7 March 1790 in Icklesham.

  3. Lucy Foster was baptised on 27 May 1792 in Icklesham.  Lucy married James Towner by banns on 21 April 1813 in Icklesham.  She was then a spinster and he a bachelor and they were both of Icklesham.
