James Field and Ann married in the early
1750's, possibly as James Field and Ann Eden
by licence on 5 April 1752 in Amberley, Sussex. (They
were not my direct ancestors.)
James Field was baptised on 30 December 1725 in Bolney, Sussex. He was the son of

will, by which he received a legacy of 20 shillings to be paid
quarterly. He died before 1815 as he was mentioned as late brother
in the 1811 will of his brother Churchman Field. He
may have been buried on 19 October 1785 in Cuckfield.
Ann's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.
James Field and Ann had 6 known children:
may have been baptised on 2 October 1753 in Boxgrove, Sussex. He was mentioned in his grandfather's 1759
will, by which he received a legacy of £20 to be paid when he
reached the age of 25 years. He was mentioned in the 1815 will
of his Great Uncle Churchman Field. James married

Michael Field was baptised on 22 October 1757 in
Cuckfield. He was mentioned in his grandfather's
1759 will, by which he received a legacy of £20 to be paid when he
reached the age of 25 years. Michael died aged 75 years and
was buried on 1 July 1833 in Cuckfield.
Michael married Sarah Hamlin by banns on 1 May 1783 in
Cuckfield. He was a bachelor and she a spinster and they were both
