William FAULCONER
(c1520-1558)
and Anne (c1520-1560)

William Faulconer and Anne were my 12x Great Grandparents.
William Faulconer was of Balcombe in the county of Sussex. His
will was dated 7 August 1558 and proved on 26 September 1558 (Lewes A4 60).
He appointed Ninian Warde and John Mychell as overseers of his
will. In addition to legacies to his family he also left 10 shillings
and 6 pence to the poor of Balcombe and Cuckfield.
Anne was mentioned in her husband's will by which he directed that
she should continue to occupy the house and lands known as Heggeland,
providing she she remained a widow. Anne was buried on 11
April 1560 in Balcombe.
William Faulconer and
Anne had 3 known children:
-
Edward
Faulconer, my 11x Great Grandfather. (He has his own
page.)
-
Henry Faulconer
was baptised on 19 August 1548 in Balcombe. (He has his own page.)
-
Julian Faulconer was mentioned in her father's will and was at that
point unmarried.
