Henry FAULCONER (1548-?)

and unknown (?-?)

Henry Faulconer was not my direct ancestor, but was the younger brother of my 11x Great Grandfather.  He was baptised on 19 August 1548 in Balcombe, Sussex and was the son of William Faulconer (c1520-1558) and Anne (c1520-1560).  Henry was mentioned in his father's 1558 will.  He held lands in Worth, Sussex and according to his son's will, he was buried in West Hoathly, Sussex, church.

Henry Faulconer and unknown had 3 known children:

  1. Henry Faulconer was appointed executor to his brother's 1611 will.

  2. John Faulconer was a yeoman of West Hoathly and buried there on 2 June 1610.  His will was dated 31 May 1610 and proved on 10 October 1611 (PCC 78 Wood).

  3. Richard Faulconer was of Ripe.  His cousin was Thomas Faulconer of East Grinstead.  In the 1614 will of Richard Infield of West Hoathly he refers to the 200 portion of Richard Faulconer left to him by his father, Henry Faulconer, deceased.
