The FAIRS Family of Sussex

 

So far, I have no known Fairs ancestors, but do have a few convoluted links.

 

I have typed up some family group pages as a result of an email received from Melanie Hopkins in August 2008.  Melanie descends from Richard Fairs born in 1790 in Cowfold, son of Richard Fairs and Elizabeth Woolvin who had married in 1788 in West Grinstead.

In March 2009 I received and email from Clayton Fairs who descends from George Fairs and Ellen Lelliott who married in 1882 and emigrated to Australia in 1912.
