The Will of
William ENTICKNAP

In the Name of God
Amen I William Enticknap of Greenlands in the parish of Lurgashall in
the County of Sussex Yeoman being infirm in body but of sound and disposing
mind memory and understanding thanks be to God Do make publish and declare
this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say,
after recomending my Soul to God and my Body to the Earth to be decently
buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named I Dispose of such
Worldly Estate wherewith God hath been pleased to bless me as follows to Wit
First it is my Will and desire that all my just Debts and ffuneral Expences
shall in the first place be paid and discharged Also I give and bequeath
unto my Servant Joyce Albury the Sum of ffifty pounds of lawfull
Money of Great Britain to be paid unto her within Six Months next after my
decease Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew William Collins
and his Heirs for ever according to the custom of the manor all those my
customary Lands and Tenements called ffishers otherwise Jack ffishers in
Northchapple within and held of the Mannor of Hachmere and Shulbred and all
other my customary Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever lying within
and held of the said Mannor of Hachmere and Shulbred (the whole having been
this day by me Surrendered to the use of my Will) And all my Estate Right
Title Revertion and Redemption Equity and Benefit of Redemption Claim and
Demands whatsoever of in and to the said Copyhold or Customary Premises and
every or any part or parcel thereof And all the Rest residue and remainder
of my real and personal Estate whatsoever and Wheresoever of what nature or
kind soever it may be I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my said
Nephew William Collins his Heirs Executors and Administrators and I
do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint him the said William
Collins full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby
revoking and making Null and Void all former and other Wills by me before
this time made Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will
and Testament In Witness whereof I the said William Enticknap the
Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this
Eighteenth day of December in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven
