My Elliott Ancestors

I have 2 and possibly 3 ancestral Elliott lines. I join the first with an 8x Great Grandmother and the second with an 11x Great Grandmother. The third line is less certain, but maybe via a 7x Great Grandmother. They are unlikely to be related even though they were all from Sussex. One family was from the Ardingly area, another from the Mayfield area, another from Salehurst, and then the other from the Itchingfield/Billingshurst area.

First Line

Elizabeth Elliott was an 8x Great Grandmother. She married Edward Dadswell (1659-1636) in 1677 in Rotherfield, Sussex.

Second Line

Alice Eliot was an 11x Great Grandmother. She married Samuel Swifte (c1590-1633) in 1611 in Salehurst, Sussex.

Third Line

I am less certain of this line, but Elizabeth Elliot may have been a 7x Great Grandmother. She married John Botting in 1753 in Chichester, although they settled in Henfield, Sussex and she may have been born in Itchingfield.
