William DIXON (c1715-1795)

and Elizabeth STUBBINS (1718-1779)

 

William Dixon and Elizabeth Stubbins were my 6x Great Grandparents.  (Click here to see their place in my pedigree chart.)  They married on 22 November 1738 in Henham, Essex.

William Dixon may have been the son Richard Dixon (1689-?) and 5 112 Elizabeth Gurlen.  He was buried on 15 April 1795 in Henham.

Elizabeth Stubbins was baptised on 30 September 1718 in Henham.  She was the daughter of William Stubbins and Elizabeth.  She was buried on 27 November 1779 in Henham.

 

William Dixon and Elizabeth Stubbins had 9 known children:

  1. John Dixon was baptised on 30 June 1739 in Henham and buried there on 11 July 1739.

  2. William Dixon was baptised on 6 July 1740 in Henham.

  3. John Dixon, my 5x Great Grandfather, was baptised on 20 January 1741 in Henham.  He married Susanna Brand in 1762.  (They have their own page.)

  4. Robert Dixon was baptised on 5 February 1742/3 in Henham.

  5. James Dixon was baptised on 12 April 1744 in Henham and probably died as an infant.

  6. Elizabeth Dixon was baptised on 5 January 1745/6 in Henham.

  7. James Dixon was baptised on 16 November 1747 in Henham.

  8. Mary Dixon was baptised on 5 January 1748/9 in Henham.

  9. Ann Dixon was baptised on 21 January 1749/50 in Henham.
