Robert DENYER (c1700-?)

and Ann AUSTIN (1703-?)

 

Robert Dennyer and Ann Austin were my 6x and 7x Great Grandparents, each time via their eldest daughter.  (To see there places in my pedigree chart, click here for 6x or here for 7x.)  They married on 25 April 1723 in Woolbeding, Sussex.

Robert Denyer's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown, to me.  He may have been the eldest son of Thomas Denyer (c1670-1731), or he may have been baptised on 20 March 1700/1 in Woolbeding, the son of 5 210 William Denyer (1673-1705) and 5 210 Jane Poole.

Ann Austen was baptised on 26 October 1703 in Easebourne, Sussex.  She was the daughter of Thomas Austin and Mary Payne (1678-?).

 

Robert Denyer and Ann Austin had 8 known children:

  1. Ann Dennyer, my 5x and 6x Great Grandmother, was baptised on 26 February 1723/4 in Woolbeding.  She married Richard Pearson in 1743.  (They have their own page.)

  2. Mary Dennyer was baptised on 1 January 1724/5 in Woolbeding.

    Mary married Henry Figg on 2 February 1756 in Midhurst, Sussex.

  3. Jane Dennyer was baptised on 17 January 1727/8 in Woolbeding.

    Jane married William Pullinger by licence dated 27 May 1751.

  4. Thomas Denyer was baptised on 8 April 1730 in Woolbeding.

  5. Robert Denyer was baptised on 29 January 1732/3 in Woolbeding.

    Robert may have married Ann Dotterel on 28 March 1755 in Bepton.

  6. Elizabeth Denyer was born on 28 April and baptised on 16 May 1735 in Woolbeding.

  7. William Denyer was born on 23 April and baptised on 20 May 1737 in Woolbeding.  He was buried on 9 June 1737 in Woolbeding.

  8. William Denyer was baptised on 6 March 1738/9 in Woolbeding and buried there on 14 May 1743.
