1799 in Buxted. They were both then of Buxted. (The Sussex
marriage index records his name as William and the IGI as Robert - the original register needs
to be checked.)
Robert was baptised on 30 November 1775 in Buxted and was the son of
John Wilmshurst and Hannah Frost

Joseph Wilmshurst was born in 1837. He
married Naomi Head in 1861.
