Robert Carver and Frances Ford married by
licence on 16 April 1696 at St. Peter the Great in Chichester, Sussex.
He was then from Sutton and she of Barlaington. Their marriage licence
was issued on the same day by the Archdeaconry of Chichester which also
noted that he was a bachelor and she a spinster. (They were not my
direct ancestors. Robert may have been the brother of my 8x Great
Grandmother, Joan Carver.)
Robert Carver was baptised on 21 April 1667 in Sutton, Sussex.
He was the son of John Carver
(c1630-?) and Joan.
Frances Ford was baptised on 28 September 1675 in
Barlavington, Sussex. She was the daughter of Christopher Ford
and Bridget North.

Christopher Carver was baptised on 9 February 1696/7 in Barlavington.
Both his parents were named in the baptism register. He was buried on 29 August 1758 in Barlavington.
Mary Wisdon on 6 October 1726 at St. Andrew's in
Chichester, Sussex. They were both then of Boxgrove.
Mary was buried on 3 March 1772 in Barlavington. The burial
register noted that she was a widow.
They had the following children:
Christopher Carver was baptised on 17 ? 1728 in
Barlavington. He died aged 78 years and was buried on 26
January 1809 in Barlavington.
Mary Carver was baptised on 6 September 1730 in

Elizabeth Carver was baptised on 21 July 1734 in
Barlavington. She was most probably buried in Barlavington on
17 May 1753.
Hannah Carver was baptised on 6 June 1737 in

Barlavington. She died aged 65 years and was buried on 2
February 1805 in Barlavington.
Robert Carver was baptised in 1741 in Barlavington.
