My Brooker Ancestors
I have 2 possible Brooker ancestral lines.
The first is via a 5x Great Grandmother Mary Brooker who married Robert Dadswell in 1782 in Rotherfield, Sussex. This was Mary's second marriage. She had first married John Bridger in 1763.
The second is via another 5x Great Grandmother Frances Brooker who married Richard Knowles in Cuckfield, Sussex in 1765. My guess is that she was the daughter of James Brooker and Frances Care who married in 1730 in Slaugham, Sussex. But, there were a few more Brooker families around at the time so I'm really not sure.
