Family History is my hobby. I am not a

William BOTTING
(1667-?)
and Sarah JUPP (?-?)

William Botting and Sarah Jupp married by licence dated 25
February 1697/8. Their licence recorded that William was a wheelwright
of Shipley and Sarah was a spinster of West Grinstead. Sponsors of the
licence were William himself and Richard Holland of
Shipley.
William Botting was baptised on 7 February 1666/7 in
Shipley, Sussex. He was the son of William Botting
(?-1707) and Dorothy Quennell. He may have been
buried on 18 October 1712 in Shipley.
Sarah Jupp's date and place of birth/baptism are unknown,
to me.
William Botting and Sarah Jupp had 2 known children:
-
Edward Botting was baptised on 15 October 1700 in
Shipley.
-
John Botting
was baptised on 21 March 1701/2 in Shipley. He married
Mary Holland in
1726. (They have their own page.)
