This is the last
Will and Testament of me
Edward Henry Beard at present staying at
Henfield in the County of Sussex Gentleman I give devise and bequeath all
Real and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate over which I
have any power of disposal unto my brothers William Day Beard
~ George Chantler Beard and Charles Izard Beard and my sister
Julia Sarah Beard and their respective heirs executors and assigns
according to the nature and quality of the same respectively as tenants in
common and not as joint tenants and in case of the death of any or either of
my said brothers and sister in my lifetime leaving issue him her or them
respectively surviving I give devise and bequeath to such issue the share or
shares of and in the said real and personal estate to which his her or their
respective parent or parents would have been entitled under this my will if
living at my decease to hold to such respective issue his her or their
respective heirs administrators and assigns as tenants in common and I
appoint my said brothers William Day Beard and George Chantler
Beard Executors of this my will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand this twenty seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and
forty six Edward Henry Beard
