Sarah Baxter who died on 19 March 1880 aged 63. Therefore, she was
born about 1816/7 and according to the census she was born in either Bepton
or Midhurst, Sussex. Sarah first married
John Restall
in Bepton in 1833 and by 1845 had settled down with
George Goble.
Sarah was most likely to have been baptised in Bepton in 1815, the daughter
of John Baxter
and Ann Pearcy,
or Pearson. John was probably the illegitimate son of Mary
Baxter.
