Charles Baytop was baptised on 23 February 1812 in Nuthurst.
The 1841 census records that he was a 25 year old agricultural
labourer living at Brook Farm in Nuthurst, the home of James
Charles married Caroline Gasson in the third quarter of
1842 in the Horsham registration district.
In 1851 the couple were living at Crab Tree in Lower Beeding and Charles
was a 40 year old agricultural labourer. Caroline was 31 and gave
her place of birth as Nuthurst. Also with them was their 10 year
old son James Gasson who was a scholar.
Caroline was baptised on 6 April 1823 in Nuthurst and was the daughter
of James Gasson and Elizabeth.
Harriet Baytop was baptised on 13 November 1814 in Nuthurst.
Baytup was baptised on 27 April 1817 in Nuthurst. He married
