They were both of Wadhurst. Thomas signed his name whilst Mary made
her X mark. The witnesses were Samuel Waghorne
and John Cooper who both signed their names. The banns were
published in Wadhurst on 29 July, 5 and 12 August 1810.
Mary was
baptised on 21 April 1792 in Wadhurst and was the daughter of
Charles Moren (1762-1826) and
Mary Kennard (1764-1826).

Frances Baldock was baptised on 23 May 1788 in Wadhurst. The
baptism register records that her father was a blacksmith.

Wadhurst.

19 June 1801 in Wadhurst. The baptism register noted that her
father was a blacksmith.

William Baldock was born on 18 March 1803.
William married Louisa Coleman by banns on 14 May 1827
in Brighton, Sussex. He was then a bachelor and she a spinster and
they were both of Brighton.
William and Louisa had 5 children.
The family left England as "Bounty Immigrants" on the "William Metcalfe
on 31 August 1838.
