Eastbourne Police
Court
(Yesterday, before
Mr. A. Mayhewe.)
DRUNK IN
GROVE-ROAD. - Annie Lambert, 47, married woman, of 18 South-street,
Eastbourne, was charged with being drunk and incapable in Grove-road the
previous evening. - Between five and six o'clock Acting-Sergeant
Hunnisett found her lying on the pavement, and as she was helplessly
drunk he assisted her to the police-station, where she was detained. - Fined
5s., and allowed a week to pay.

Pete Hunnisett tells me that at the time there was a John Hunnisett,
Police Sergeant, at 49 Watts Lane, Eastbourne, and that he may have been
from Herstmonceux, Sussex.
(I have no known
connection to any of the above.)
